Not All Ads Are Created Equal
almost cried in class today. haven’t felt so lousy about myself in such a long time. feels like nus all over again. hur.
but it’s okay.
i am going to work so much harder from now on.

drew this tiger the night before submission.
guess i really waste a lot of time doing nonsensical stuff huh.
thank you danielle. thank you shin. thank you alvin.
cheer up dear! dont be sad. it will all get better!
life has a tendency to remind us of the times that we don’t feel our best.
but just remember it is but a residue and that you have indeed overcame your past for the brighter place that you are at now and acknowledge the strength you have yea?=)
there is potential in you. i can see it!
and dont worry i drew something like that too. adv is highly subjective. you’d do great. jiayou!
aww. that’s just your way of destressing. I agree with dan that advertising is subjective. What everyone’s doing is just catering to one person’s taste/preference now. And the market doesn’t only have one type of preference really. Even the safest ads, like corporate/government ones have their own market.
And sometimes, the most creative ones may not even get to showcase their creativity all the time because clients tend to kill them.
So, seriously, chin up! It’s still a happy route ahead.
